This wiki is an initiative of the AMS Code and Policies Committee, to try and create ways to have more open and collaborative ways of developing AMS code amendments, policies, and meeting agendas.

You will also be able to keep track of current chances for AMS involvement, and any current consultations that are taking place. The AMS needs to know what you think when developing things like the new Student Union Building, so watch this space!

Upcoming Agenda

New agendas will be kept here and edited to the point when the agenda has passed. When a meeting time is agreed to by the members of the committee, it will be posted here for public viewing. The agenda of the committee, where possible, will be also added and displayed.

Council

AMS Council is the Board of Directors and primary decision making body for the AMS. It is responsible for the oversight of the entire Society, creating policy, raising funds, and general administration. Council meets every two weeks, on Wednesdays at 6:00 PM.

Legislative Procedures

The Legislative Procedures Committee is responsible for internal rules and procedures at the AMS. It meets weekly - on Thursdays at 11:00 AM when Council is also sitting that week, and on Wednesdays at 1:00 PM when Council is not sitting.
