There are lots of Battlefield Buffs that happen on a regular basis that drastically improve the efficiency of some important and expensive resources. In order to get the biggest bang for your buck, it's very helpful to take advantage of these buffs. In many cases it's worthwhile to be patient in using these resources, and reserve them until the right day.
To find out which buffs are active at any given time, look for the Buffs icon in the upper-left of your screen, then click on the Battlefield tab. See the page on the AMS Main Screen for more info.
