Christmas Sticker

The Christmas Sticker event is a modification of the standard Sticker event, with the main modification being that it uses Smiley Faces as currency rather than Gold.  I believe this was intended to prevent players from using the event to transfer gold from their farms to their main players as is frequently done with other sticker events.

Standard Christmas Sticker Packs are acquired in three ways:

  1. Attacking Toys (up to 30 times per day) - you have a chance to earn packs of stickers each time you attack a toy.  It appears that up to 3 packs are earned each time (this may depend on the level of toy you attack).
  2. Training Troops (up to 50 times per day) - the amount of packs you get each time depends heavily on the number (and possibly troop level) of the troops you train.  Sticker packs are earned when you collect/release the troops from training.
  3. Kill Kate (up to 10 times per day)

There are also special Sticker Packs that focus on specific rows. If you have activated Holiday Perks (activated for $25), you can collect 5 Christmas Sticker Packet D packs per day.  (There is also an E packet that I received, but I don't know where I got it from - I'll update when I have the info.)

When you earn a pack of stickers it goes to your Item inventory - you have to go there to open it in order to use the stickers.  Once you open a pack the stickers will be shown in your Sticker Album.

Some stickers are more common, and others can be quite rare.  In a sampling of about 1400 stickers that I redeemed from the standard sticker packs here is the percentage of stickers I received:

The Christmas Sticker screen has three tabs: the Sticker Album, where your inventory of stickers is shown; the Sticker Trade Store, where you can buy and sell stickers with other players; and the Store, which allows you to buy things with your Smiley Faces.

If there is a red dot on your Reward button in the Album screen you have collected enough stickers to redeem for a reward.  There are 50 such rewards, and you can redeem each 31 times.

Here is a catalog of the available prize groupings, along with the recipe for redeeming each.

The Christmas trees represent superior reward packs, and there are three variants:

Christmas Tree (11) Christmas Tree (13, 31, 34, 44, 48) Christmas Tree (32, 50)

The first variant above is the reward for Recipe 11.  The second variant above is the reward for Recipes 13, 31, 34, 44, and 48.  The final variant is the reward for Recipes 32 and 50.
